Geneva 2010
Back in Geneva for EBACE. Arrived here today – got a business class upgrade on Delta. The advertise a celebrity chef but the food wasn’t that great. I didn’t eat that much dinner. Started to watch Pirate Radio but fell asleep through it. The weather was beautiful today. Our hotel is lovely very cute and small. Our rooms have the bed and sitting area. Located in the old town part of Switzerland. This is definitely not a cheap place to be. Geneva is one of those towns where a Coca-Cola truly is $6.50 USD. Here are some pictures that I took today – The first part is everything Swiss.

The Fish Tank
Was with Coke last night working the Georgia Aquarium. Try going to the Fish Tank during regular hours when it is a impossible to see anything through the crowds and you will appreciate getting to go in an event environment. Here are a couple of pictures that I took last night.

FOOD CARTS
Went with my food critic friend last night to East Andrews where there was a gathering of food carts. YEAH – with the huge help of Christiane L – we are finally making a bit of headway into the very chic food cart market. I felt the food was a bit overpriced but the couple of bits that I had were good. I ate the Lobster roll on a wheat thyme bread which the bread was nice and soft. Then I had a tangerine basil popsicle. You could really smell the basil it was quite fun. The one item I did want to try was a parmesan waffle cone with lentils and rice with lemon ricotta. But it was priced at $6.00 and that was too much for that size of portion. It was also fun to see other restaurant owners there that want to do the food carts but waiting for laws to get pased. PLEASE city of Atlanta get up OFF YOUR BUTT and get some laws passed.
That is my story for now and I am sticking to it.

Final 4 in Indy – Hospitality
Had a good arrival day in Indy at Coca-Cola’s hospo suite. Everyone is loving what Mike and team has done with the suite. Chef Michelle’s food so far has been really good. She has a clear understanding of food an flavor profiles and for that I am grateful.
